AccuOrange™ProteinQuantitationKitisahighlysensitivefluorescence-basedassayforquantitatingpurifiedproteinsamplesin96-wellformat(excitation/emission=480/598nm).Thedetectionrangeoftheassayis0.1-15ug/mLprotein.AccuOrangeismuchmoresensitivethantrADItionalproteinquantitationassayssuchasBCA,BradfordandLowry,andshowssuperiorlinearityandreproducibilitycomparedtotheNanoOrangeproteinquantitationassay.TheassayshowsminimalvariABIlitybetweendifferentproteins,andhasstablefluorescencesignalforupto16hours.
AccuOrangeisrecommendedforquantitatingpurifiedproteinorantibodysamples.ThetoleranceoftheAccuOrangeassaytosalts,buffers,detergents,andotherchemicalsisshowninTable1oftheproductprotocol.TheAccuOrangeassayhaslowtolerancefornon-ionicdetergents,andisnotrecommendedforusewithcelllysatescontainingTritonX-100,sodiumdeoxycholate,CHAPs,orothernon-ionicdetergents.Theassaycantolerateupto0.01%SDS(finalconcentrationinassay).
