The6XGelRedPrestainLoadingBuffersareavailablewithbluetrackingdyesorwithorangetrackingdye.Prestainbufferwithbluetrackingdyes(cat.no.41009)containstwoblueelectrophoresistrackingdyesthatrunatapproximately1.5kband200bpina1%agarosegel.Prestainbufferwithorangetrackingdye(cat.no.41010)containsanorangeelectrophoresistrackingdyethatrunsatapproximately50bpina1%agarosegel.
GelRedandEtBrhavevirtuallythesamespectra,soyoucandirectlyreplaceEtBrwithGelRedwithoutchangingyourexistingimagingsystem.Inaddition,GelRedisfarmoresensitivethanEtBr,whichcannotbeusedinDNAloadingbuffertoprestainDNA.GelRediscompatIBLewithdownstreamapplicationssuchassequencingandcloning.GelRedisefficientlyremovedfromDNAbycommercialgelextractionkitsorbyphenol/chloroformextractionandethanolprecipitation.
